New York Faces Magazine is here to honor those individuals that help others while creating a better life for themselves. With this goal in mind, we noticed someone that has highly excelled at this endeavor. Angie Rose of Coop City in the Bronx has set the pace for others to follow with her musical talent and her level of urgency in helping children around the world.  Her talent for creating cross over music is what originally impressed me but as I learned more about her, I was blown away. Angie Rose is a powerhouse whose story perfectly captures the spirit of the Bronx—resilience, faith-driven, and deeply rooted in community. This is an example of just some of her accomplishments. In addition, she was also interviewed for People magazine, Selena's addition #9 with 24 million streams to account for these efforts.  Lastly, her Orphanage dreams are coming to reality in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, her Guatemala initiatives in homes for widows and their children.  I discovered during the interview that her determination to be heard comes from being the baby in the family with 11 siblings and still living in the Bronx make being heard a monumental effort.  As a pastor’s daughter, she has taken the best from her siblings, parents and the church where she developed to be a motivator in the world of Music performers.
